hour of power, huh?

Soes I thought I would get home, put on my headlamp, get dressed, and go slam out a good hard ride. I even had the gall to try to get in one of the conville/boettcher get downs. Ah how dreams get crushed. My hour turned out to be 13 miles. ewww.
Of course I couldnt see my mph in the dark so how could I know? I still think I am thinner than pruitt but maybe that is even a falsehood now. Then one of my heroes decides he is going to come out of the dark about his doping practices in his last year as a pro. Please, Johan. everyone knows if you were doping that late you probly had the goods after you fell off your harley and again after you tore your knee in half in the arenberg. And the gangreen?! What you and your wife have no olfactories? I bet I would have beat him on the ride today. Even he's thinner than pruitt. But not conville. This photo show Chris telling me there is no way he could possibly eat another mini burger(not true) and that he would NOT be partaking in the donuts later(not true). Twas a good night that night, boy!

The pounder is aka Ron Lutz. former army table tennis champ, 320lbs as a teenager, and he got 11th at the inaugaral Thrift Drug Classic in Pittsburgh, Pa when lance armstrong won in 1991. How things change.

the original and still heavy weight champ

Move over Manimal and so called Diesel, there is something meatier on the move. The original Pounder is putting serious heat on this hill. Although a bit past his prime, he is bone crusher nonetheless. He got pushed of the pedestal in this years dirty dozen, he held the previous fat record at 225lbs at 5'7"!

No marriage plans as of yet, to answer the weirdest question yet on my sporatic blog. But the other news is that after four year and a few months, I am changing spaces where I till my craft. I will be the sous chef at Taste restaurant at the new Seattle art museum. Ill be working with the Manimal and Big Daddy D. Its a bit of a huslte bustle area- pike place, the new four seasons, union, and other close by ammenities. Should be a busy and fun time and I am really looking foward to the challenge. So here's to the new year!

something good is coming

To all those that are faithful, fear not, there will be something new and bold in the new year. Some might say shocking. Some might laugh but all will be intrigued and even be a bit curious.

I raced my skis this last weekend and I ran into a tree. Im not saying thats why I performed bad, Im just saying. I wrecked a second time as well, Im blaming that on a slip of concentration, bad luck, and a soft piece of snow. I took four minutes off my time from the last time I did the race and I see that as a good thing. You take four minutes off. and Im thinner than pruitt.
