Belated work and STP report

So alot it going down about now. I am in the process of buying a new house/condo. It is a challenge for sure. I lost out on the first one but I have confidence for the next ones.
Onto the report on Seattle to Porland. Riders in attendance:Geoffrey & Todd on the tandem, Daniel Roberts, Matt Hubbard, Mike Something, and Chris Conville. I didnt have the best feeling of confidence going into this year. I had an off couple of weeks before hand and saw my chances of smoking a 9:30 slip away. After a quality breakfast and Convilles declaration of "every man for themselves after the 150 miles mark" in the back of everyones mind, we were on our way. I felt like I was on a deep sea fishing trip this year. Getting up at 3am, trying to eat and drink lots of coffee, then trying to force food down my gullet through the wee hours of the morning. We were supposed to meet up with Dave Douglas but I never saw him and he was looking for our tandem who was up at performance buying a new seatpost cause Todd has unusually long legs. Funny because Geoffrey has unusually short legs. We blazed the first hundred in 4:40. Not too bad. I was starting to get worried cause I was finding myself closing down lots gaps that the racers in the group were providing for me. I fueled up on a bbq beef sandwhich in centrailia and we started off again. Tomorrow's entry will describe miles 120-150 in which I blew apart in ways that I have never blown apart before.
